We offer both Acupuncture and
Acupressure. Although Acupuncture yields
little or no discomfort, sometimes Acupressure is
preferable for some patients...especially young
children.
Acupuncture needles are fine, sterile, stainless steel
healing devices. They are about the size of a
cat's whisker. Needles are never reused, so the
treatment is extremely safe and clean.
According to Chinese Medicine every person has a series
of meridians or pathways that run through their bodies.
Each meridian contains multiple points. These points
affect certain areas, functions, and organs in our
bodies. Acupuncture seeks to create balance and
flow in each individual. If there is an imbalance,
we re-balance. If there is a blockage, we remove
the blockage in order to create flow.
Dr. Wick has studied and practices many styles of
Acupuncture including Master Tung's Acupuncture, Dr.
Tan's Acupuncture, Five Element Acupuncture, Japanese
Acupuncture, Auricular Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.
